As we all know we hear stories about how romantic Paris is, well, we have had the experience of it ourselves, and guess what? I believe the hype.
We had to visit Champs-Elysees, one of the most famous streets in Paris, this wide, tree-lined avenue is home to some of the city’s most chic restaurants, shops and boutiques running through the 8th arrondissement.
It is full with luxury shops one of which is the world’s biggest Louis Vuitton shop at Champs Elysee!
For me and my friends one of the most enjoyable experiences for me was the stunning walk which looking at my iPhone app is about 2km.The scenery along the way is very beautiful.
Most of the shops along the Champs-Elysees are different to what you would find in any major cities, they are all well recognised big international brands. It was very busy on our visit and I would say it is filled with many tourists which give this street a great atmosphere. Along the way are several metro stops along the Champs-Elysees making this and easy location to get.
For all you cycling fans, the last stage of the Tour de France finishes on the Champs-Élysées, with the awards ceremony also taking place on the Avenue.
